Ashland, Ohio- The University of Findlay track and field teams traveled to Ashland, Ohio to compete in day one of the Jud Logan Light Giver Invite on Friday, Feb. 7. The event, showcasing top competition from Division I, II, and III, saw the Oilers deliver several standout performances.

Notable Finishes Â
Women:Â
- Junior Katelyn Heath took fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.39m and junior Morgan Allman finished 11th with a mark of 10.86m.Â
- Senior Kelsey Kennon took seventh in the elite weight throw with a mark of 17.16m meeting the NCAA Provisional Standard.Â
- Sophomore Maci Ames took fourth in pole vault with a mark of 3.50m and freshman Erin Moran finished seventh with a mark of 3.35m. Â
- Freshman Colleen Steinmetz finished third in the elite pole vault with a mark of 3.93m, sophomore Victoria Harvey took fifth with a mark of 3.93m, and sophomore Tru Buddenberg tied for eighth with a mark of 3.78m. With these jumps Steinmetz, Harvey, and Buddenberg all met the NCAA Provisional Standard.Â
Men:Â
- Junior Leyton Nossa finished second in the elite weight throw with a mark of 19.70m. With this throw Nossa met the NCAA Provisional Standard. Senior Collin Warner took eighth with a mark of 16.91m. Â
- Junior Conner Douglass placed second in the pole vault with a height of 4.60m and senior Gabe Clement finished tenth with a mark of 4.30m.Â
- Freshman Luke Ellerbrock finished ninth in the 5000m run with a time of 15:27.45.

The Oilers will be back in action tomorrow, Saturday, Feb 8. as they compete in day two of the Jud Logan Light Giver Invite. Â
