Indianapolis, Ind. – The NCAA announced its' selections for participation in the 2026 Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championship on Tuesday, May 12. The women's squad will send nine to the event while the men's team qualified seven. Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching a provisional standard established for each event. For each individual event contested, the top 22 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition, the top 16 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted, and for the heptathlon and decathlon the top 16 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. The championships will be held May 21-23 in Emporia, Kansas at Welch Stadium. Emporia State University will serve as the host of the championships.
