Queens, NY – The University of Findlay women's tennis team, ranked No. 12 in the country, continued its' trip on the east coast with a matchup on Wednesday, March 12 against the Queens College Knight, ranked No. 28 in the country. The Oilers picked up a convincing 5-2 victory.
The Oilers were beaten at second and third doubles, losing the doubles point, although No. 27
Valentina Salek and
Polina Zaytseva did rally from a 3-1 deficit to earn a win at first doubles. In singles, No. 13
Anamarija Kovacevic was a two-set winner to get Findlay on the board. That kick started a singles session where the Oilers lost just one match.

Findlay is back in action with another big matchup, taking on Adelphi on Thursday, March 13. Adelphi, while not a top-25 team, does check in at No. 34 in the ITA rankings.
