Pepper Pike, Ohio - The University of Findlay women's tennis team, ranked No. 8 in the country in the latest International Tennis Association (ITA) DII poll, completely dominated the Ursuline College Arrows on Saturday, March 22, winning the Great Midwest Athletic Confernece (G-MAC) contest by a score of 7-0. Findlay has now won six consecutive matches and improves to 11-2 on the season.
There was never a doubt who was in control on Saturday as the Oilers swept through the doubles matches and then almost did so again in singles as every set was decided by a score of 6-0 except for at No. 6 singles where Ursuline did pick off a couple of games. However, any hope was quickly squandered as that match still lasted just 38 minutes and ended 2-0 in favor of
Emma Lynch.
