Alliance, Ohio- The University of Findlay track and field team traveled a small group of pole vaulters to compete in the John Homon Open hosted by the University of Mount Union on Sunday April 12. After facing tough competition, the Oilers claimed three notable finishes.  

• Freshman Erin Moran tied for fifth place with a mark of 3.61m. 

• Sophomore Tru Buddenberg finished seventh with a mark of 3.61m. 

• Sophomore Maci Ames took eighth with a mark of 3.46m. 

The Oilers will be back in action Friday April 18 as they travel to Charlottesville, Va. to compete in the Virginia Challenge.
