Ashland, Ohio – The University of Findlay men and women's outdoor track and field teams wrapped up the second day of competition at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship on May 1. The men currently lead the event with 80 points while the women are in fourth place with 42 points.

Jordan Foster (Sr.) was first in the 1,500-meter run prelims with a time of 3:57.26 while
Jaxen Durfey (So.) was the runner-up at 3:57.85.

Kelsey Kennon (Sr.) took fifth with a NCAA qualifying throw of 13.96 meters.

Colleen Steinmetz (Fr.) finished as the runner-up in the pole vault with a NCAA qualifying jump of 4.01 meters while
Tru Buddenberg (So.) was fourth with a NCAA qualifying mark of 3.86 meters.

Jordan Taylor (Sr.) advanced to the finals in the 100-meter dash with a NCAA qualifying time of 11.58 and also finished first in the preliminary round of the 200-meter dash with a NCAA qualifying mark of 23.47.

Zanri Black (Fr.) took first place in the preliminary round of the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.36 and also qualified for the finals in the 100-meter hurdles with an eighth place finish at 15.13.

Kylie Ray (Sr.) took second in the prelims in the 400-meter hurdles to advance to the finals with a time of 1:03.33, finished third in the preliminary round of the 100-meter hurdles at 14.30 and was third in the first round of the 400-meter dash with a NCAA qualifying standard of 55.66.

Leah Smith (So.) took second in the opening round of the 100-meter dash with a NCAA qualifying time of 11.59 and was also third in the 200-meter dash with another NCAA qualifying time of 23.92.

Taylor Ivory (Sr.) finished third in the 400-meter dash preliminary round with a NCAA qualifying time of 55.64.
