Indianapolis, Ind. - Sophomore Meghan Heinsman has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Softball Player of the Week as announced by the league on Monday, March 2.

Heinsman was stellar in the Oilers' first doubleheader of their annual spring trip, leading UF to a sweep of St. Cloud State and Southern New Hampshire. Heinsman was 4-for-5 at the plate on the day with a double and two RBI. She also added a walk and a stolen base to her ledger.

This is Heinsman's second G-MAC Player of the Week honor of her career.
