Indianapolis, Ind. - Senior Annika Bredel was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released on Monday, Feb. 23.

Bredel helped the Oilers to go 4–1 to start the season, with their only loss coming to No. 15 UIndy. She opened the year with hits in her first six at-bats and finished the week 9-for-17 (.529) at the plate, recording two doubles, one triple, eight RBIs, and no strikeouts.

The Wellington, Ohio native posted a .600 on-base percentage and added three stolen bases.
