Indianapolis, Ind. – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) released its annual postseason awards in the sport of men's golf on Friday, May 15. For the 2025-26 season, the Oilers earned four all-conference honors as senior Luke Metzger, freshman Ross Dietz, junior Colin Schadek, and sophomore Cahle Roth were all named. Along with those all-conference honorees, Metzger was named the G-MAC Player of the Year, Dietz was named Freshman of the Year, and head coach Dominic Guarnieri earned Coach of the Year. The team was also selected as the league's Sportsmanship Award winner.
G-MAC Player of the Year – Luke Metzger
Playing in his final season at Findlay, senior Luke Metzger is the first to earn conference Player of the Year since Kyle Weisenburger won Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Player of the Year in 2003. Metzger had an outstanding season for the Oilers, averaging 72.16 this season, the fifth-best single-season scoring average in program history. He was a two-time winner this season, picking up medalist at the SVSU Men's Invitational and the Findianapolis Intercollegiate. Those wins were part of five top-five finishes this season, a year in which 14 of his 37 rounds were under par. Out of all of his tournament rounds, only one single round was not counted towards the Oilers' team score, highlighting his consistency from the fall all the way into the spring.
G-MAC Freshman of the Year – Ross Dietz
Ross Dietz is the fourth G-MAC Freshman of the Year in program history and the ninth Freshman of the Year in the NCAA era of the program. Dietz averaged 73.54 this season and recorded 11 rounds under par. He had four top-five finishes including one victory which came at the G-MAC Championship where he became the first freshman to medalist at the event in eight years. His best round of the year was a 67 (-5) which he shot in the final round of the Greenwood Men's Invitational on March 10.
Coach of the Year – Dominic Guarnieri
After leading the Oilers to a conference title, just the third in the G-MAC era of the program, Coach Guarnieri has been named G-MAC Coach of the Year. It is the third time he has earned Coach of the Year in men's golf.

Also picking up all-conference honors are juniors Colin Schadek and sophomore Cahle Roth.
Schadek, returning to action after an injury plagued the beginning of his season, averaged 73.88 on the year and recorded a pair of top-five finishes.
