The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team lost 17-2 against Grand Valley State University on Sunday, April 7 in Allendale, Mich. The loss gives the Oilers a 2-10 record on the season with a 0-3 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The Lakers out-shot the Oilers by a 33-16 margin and held a 15-6 edge in draw controls.

Sarah Lankton and Brandi Wright scored the only goals for the Oilers.

Lankton also assisted on Wright's score.

The Oilers will host Wheeling Jesuit on Friday, April 12 in their next game.  It is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Armstrong Sports Complex.
