Ashland, Ohio- The University of Findlay men's and women's track and field team competed in the final day of the Jud Logan Light Giver Open on Feb. 3. After a long day of tough competition, the Oilers had several top five finishes.

Top Finishes Men-Â
·      Nick Rice (GR) finished fourth in the elite 400m dash with a time of 48.67Â
·      Simon Derstine (JR) took fourth in the 800m run with a time of 1:52.63Â
·      Hunter Tresnan-Rieghard (SR) took second in the shot put with a mark of 15.87m and Colin Warner (JR) finished fifth with a mark of 14.85mÂ
·      Shakur Payton (JR) finished third in high jump with a height of 2.00m Â
·      Alex Mutchler (SR) took first in pole vault with a mark of 5.15m meeting the NCAA Provisional StandardÂ
·      Eliot Cummings (JR) finished third in long jump with a distance of 7.05mÂ
·      The 4x400m Relay team consisting of Nick Rice (GR), Josh Verhoff (GR), Hassan Sesay (SR), and Sherron Jones (SO) finished fifth with a time of 3:16.45 meeting the NCAA Provisional StandardÂ

·      Hannah Rybicki (SR) finished fifth in the 400m dash with a time of 1:01.61Â
·      Hailey Wilson (SR) took fourth in the 1 mile run with a time of 4:57.62 - Program Record
·      Jordan Taylor (SR) finished third in the 60m dash with a time of 7.61 meeting the NCAA Provisional Standard Â
·      Kylie Ray (SR) finished fourth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.86Â
·      Kelsey Kennon (SR) finished second in shot put with a mark of 12.95mÂ
·      Trista Fintel (JR) took first in the elite shot put with a mark of 16.08m meeting the NCAA Provisional Standard - Personal Record
·      The 4x400m Relay team consisting of Taylor Ivory (JR), Leah Smith (FR), Peyton Hitmeyer (SO), and Mary Ellis (FR) finished third with a time of 3:59.12Â
