Ann Arbor, Mich. / Ashland, Ohio- The University of Findlay track and field teams competed on two fronts Saturday, February 7, with athletes split between the Michigan Invitational and the Jud Logan Light Giver Invitational, hosted by the University of Michigan and Ashland University. The Oilers made the most of both opportunities, turning in several standout performances that included multiple national marks and numerous improvements on the program's all-time top-ten lists, highlighting a strong weekend across the board.
Michigan Invitational
Men's Results
- Julian Griffin (Sr.) earned a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles prelims with a time of 8.17 and followed with another fourth-place showing in the finals at 8.11, which met the NCAA provisional standard.
- Nathan Strahm (Fr.) recorded a fourth-place finish in the 800 meters, posting a time of 1:54.44 that ranks as the eighth-fastest performance in program history.
- Sam Derstine (Jr.) posted a fifth-place result in the 800 meters with a time of 1:57.13 and later helped the men's 4x400-meter relay (B) team to a sixth-place finish in 3:26.13.
- Evan Kreais (So.) turned in a fifth-place finish in the high jump after clearing 1.90 meters.
- Camden St. John (So.) finished sixth in both the high jump, clearing 1.85 meters, and the long jump with a mark of 6.49 meters.
- Joel Stirn (Fr.) claimed fifth place in the long jump with a distance of 6.64 meters.
- Evan Combs (Fr.) delivered a runner-up performance in the pole vault, clearing 5.21 meters to earn an NCAA provisional mark and move into third in program history.
- Alex Mutchler (Sr.) secured third place in the pole vault with a clearance of 5.11 meters, reaching the NCAA provisional standard.
- Panashe Chavi (Fr.) added a sixth-place finish in the pole vault with a mark of 4.86 meters, also achieving an NCAA provisional mark.
- Jack Newlove (Fr.) was part of the men's 4x400-meter relay (A) squad that finished second in 3:19.77.
- Brandon Richardson (Jr.) contributed to the second-place effort by the men's 4x400-meter relay (A) team, which clocked a 3:19.77.
- Teagan France (Fr.) helped power the men's 4x400-meter relay (A) team to a second-place finish with a time of 3:19.77.
- Sherron Jones (Sr.) anchored the men's 4x400-meter relay (A) team that placed second in 3:19.77.
- Charles Ivory (Fr.) competed on the men's 4x400-meter relay (B) team that earned sixth place in 3:26.13.
- Nathan Kesler (Fr.) joined the men's 4x400-meter relay (B) group that finished sixth with a time of 3:26.13.

Women's Results
- Zanri Black (So.) recorded a sixth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.06, which ranks ninth in program history, and also placed sixth in the 400 meters at 57.77.
- Katharina Rupp (Fr.) earned a runner-up finish in the 400 meters, posting a time of 56.24 to achieve an NCAA provisional mark.
- Mary Ellis (Jr.) finished fourth in the 400 meters with a time of 57.08.
- Anna Heren (Jr.) placed fourth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:16.30 and later competed on the women's 4x400-meter relay (A) team that finished sixth in 4:04.33.
- Lauren Sattler (So.) delivered a fourth-place finish in the mile, clocking a time of 4:54.47 that earned an NCAA provisional mark, set a school record, and ranks as the 29th-fastest time in Division II this season.
- Ashley Sigmon (Sr.) claimed third place in the high jump with a clearance of 1.65 meters.
- Colleen Steinmetz (So.) captured first place in the pole vault after clearing 4.08 meters, earning an NCAA provisional mark and recording the seventh-best mark in Division II this season, which ranks fourth in program history.
- Jessica Hoban (Sr.) secured third place in the triple jump with a mark of 11.97 meters, meeting the NCAA provisional standard.
- Katelyn Heath (Sr.) finished fourth in the triple jump with a distance of 11.62 meters.
- Helen Unger (So.) competed as part of the women's 4x400-meter relay (A) team that placed sixth with a time of 4:04.33.
- Hadley Schultz (Jr.) helped the women's 4x400-meter relay (A) team earn a sixth-place finish in 4:04.33.
- Emma Hammer (So.) rounded out the women's 4x400-meter relay (A) squad that finished sixth with a time of 4:04.33.

Women's Results
- Brenna McDonald (Fr.) claimed first place in the shot put with a throw of 11.97 meters.
- Ava Kiefer (Sr.) recorded a seventh-place finish in the shot put elite section with a mark of 12.46 meters.
- Reilly Cozette (Sr.) took twelfth in the 3K with a time of 10:20.62.
- Sarah Reinhart (Sr.) finished thirteenth with a time of 10:24.48.
Men's Results
- Eyan Wilson (Sr.) earned a runner-up finish in the shot put elite division, posting a throw of 18.27 meters to meet the NCAA provisional standard and rank fifth in program history.
- Leyton Nossa (Sr.) finished 13th in the shot put with a mark of 14.41 meters.
Findlay will be back in action Friday, Feb. 13 as they travel to Allendale, Mich. for the GVSU Big Meet hosted by Grand Valley State University.
