Track & Field Continues Action on Day Two of G-MAC Outdoor Championships

Hillsdale, Mich.- The University of Findlay track and field teams continued competition on day two of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday, April 30. After two days of action, the women's team sits in third place, while the men currently rank fourth.

Notable Results
Men

Owen Ackerman (So.) placed first in the high jump with a mark of 2.07 meters, meeting the NCAA provisional standard.
Benjamin Hall (So.) finished first in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:04.32, meeting the NCAA provisional standard.
Eyan Wilson (Sr.) took second in the shot put with a throw of 17.47 meters, meeting the NCAA provisional standard.
Evan Kreais (So.) placed fifth in the long jump with a mark of 7.24 meters.
Sherron Jones (Sr.) qualified fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.74 and second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.29.
KJ Upshaw (Sr.) qualified second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.56.

Leah Smith (Jr.) qualified first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.63 (defending champion) and third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.62, meeting the NCAA provisional standard.
Zanri Black (So.) qualified first in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.36, meeting the NCAA provisional standard.
Helen Unger (So.) qualified fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.92.
