Indianapolis, Ind. — The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) released its 2026 women's soccer coaches poll on Thursday, August 13, with the University of Findlay selected third for the second consecutive season. The Oilers received 109 points, just one point behind second-place Cedarville (110). Ashland claimed the top spot with 119 points and 10 first-place votes.

Findlay is coming off a successful 2025 campaign in which the Oilers posted a 12-4-4 record and advanced to the G-MAC Tournament Final for the first time since the 2021 spring season. After defeating Cedarville on a late goal in a thrilling semifinal, Findlay ultimately fell to Ashland, 3-0, in the tournament championship.

The 2026 season will mark the third year at the helm for head coach Sierra Tom, who has guided the Oilers to two consecutive G-MAC Tournament appearances. Tom owns a 22-9-7 record during her first two seasons as a collegiate head coach.

Findlay will open the 2026 campaign at home on Thursday, August 27, when the Oilers welcome Point Park to town for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
