In 1994, a quarterback arrived on campus that would transform the Oiler wishbone running attack into an offense that was equally potent through the air. The Findlay Oiler offense would be in good hands for the next four years. Bo Hurley became a household name when fans talked about Findlay football. He was equally adept at running and passing and would hurt teams either way. He was a rare four-year starter and led his teams to a career record of 41-3-1 and two NAIA National Title in 1995 & 1997. His legacy and records may never be broken. His teammates voted him as their offensive MVP 4 straight years. Bo currently holds 10 school records including career TD passes and career yardage. In 1997 he was named to the First Team All-American Team and as the Rawlings NAIA National Player of the Year. Bo was equally impressive in the classroom. He was a three time Academic All-American as well. Bo graduated from The UF with his bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Business Administration. While finishing his athletic eligibility, he began work on his Master’s degree in Business Administration. In 1998, Bo would receive his MBA from UF in Organizational Leadership. While at Findlay, he was on the SIFE Team and in the Marketing Club. Bo is employed with Ashland Inc. as a Territory Manager. He currently resides in Centerville, Ohio with his wife Courtney and two daughters, Isabella and Emerson.
