Lisa (Hallock) Evans would spend her four years at Findlay from 1989-1993 garnering honors in virtually every distance even that she competed in. she was an NAIA All-American in 3 different events, two relays and the 1,000-yd. run. She qualified for the NAIA National Championships 10 times during her career – twice in Cross Country, 4 times in Indoor Track and 4 times in Outdoor Track. She was also a 3 time NAIA National Scholar Athlete and helped lead her team to 3 straight NAIA District 22 championships. In 1993, the UF Athletic Department awarded her the Mancuso Trophy as the top female student-athlete. Lisa has kept herself quite busy and involved since she left UF. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Findlay in 1993 with a degree in Social Work and Psychology. While at UF, she was the Founders Daughter, received a Town & Campus Scholarship, was Vice-President of the Social Work Club, was named the outstanding Social Work student in 1993, and was the senior attendant for Homecoming. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Ohio State University in 1997 and is currently a Social Worker at the Fostoria Community Hospital. She had been at FCH for 10 years and received numerous employee of the year honors. She currently resides in Perrysburg, Ohio with her son Preston.
