Native of Findlay, Ohio who distinguished himself as football quarterback, helping Findlay College Oilers in 1929 NW Ohio Championship. As safety never dropped a punt nor allowed opposition to score over him. Never weighed more than 122 pounds. Played guard on basketball team and was track dash man. A man whose spirit has led him to new heights throughout his life. Retired from profession with State Liquor Department. Worked Y.M.C.A. in Findlay and Columbus and reached the heights in Masonic Orders of Ohio Thirty Third Degree Mason. Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Grand Commander of Grand Community Knights Templar, Grand High Priest of Most Excellent Chapter of Ohio Royal Arch Masons. Devoted churchman and father.
