A leader in American Industry today who distinguished himself first as an athlete then as coach and teacher then as an engineer, manager and inventor. Lettered three years each in football and basketball, captained the basketball in 1941. Taught and coached at Liberty Township High school and Cory Rawson High School. One of his football teams in the early 50’s was not scored on, untied, undefeated. Served his county in World War II, attained rank of Captain. Has been engineer and plant manager and manager of manufacturing for the A.B. Chance Co., Baxter Co. and Swedlow, Inc. He is a registered engineer in two states. Has served the state of Missouri as a member of the Governor’s Committee on Education, active in politics, City Councilman for 10 years, and the Kiwanis Club. Has held many positions in the church. Author of many articles, and received National Engineering Award for best use of materials. He is married and the father of three daughters, a recognized leader in the field of plastics and industrial management.
