Hall of Fame
An outstanding athlete at Findlay College having lettered four years in each sport, football, basketball, and baseball. Named to All-Mid Ohio Football Team 1951-52-53, was all Mid-Ohio in basketball in 1952 and ’53, member of the NAIA Kansas City Team of 1951-52 and 52-53 season. President of Varsity F and a member of Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. Has distinguished himself as a coach and high school administrator. He is Dean of Students, Athletic Director and Baseball Coach at Elida High School where he has taught for 20 years. He has coached varsity football and basketball and his baseball teams have been in 1958 and the District Finals in 1975. He has coached Elida Acme Team which was named State Champs in 1971 and runner-up in 1972. He is an active Lutheran Layman and the recipient of the F.J. Egner Outstanding Coaches Award for baseball in 1975. He is a devoted husband and father of two boys and true leader of young men and women.
