Steve Williman made his mark coaching boys basketball at the high school level. He had a high level of success at Liberty Benton High School, winning a state title during the 1995 campaign. He was also the head coach when Liberty Benton finished as the state runner-up during the 2007 season. He finished his career with a record of 551-208 in 33 seasons as a head coach.
