A four year letterman in football and baseball at Findlay College – Captain of both teams. Recognized leader of Football Coaches in America. Was both assistant and head coach at Miami (Ohio). U of Cincinnati and U for Virginia, assistant football coach at U.S. Military Academy West Point. Led Miami Indians to Mid Am Conference title in 1948. Coach of the Year Atlantic Conference e1969. Member of Am. Football Coaches Assn. Committees and Clinics. NFL Football Scout. A leader in his community, devoted husband and father.
