Hall of Fame
An outstanding all around athlete at Findlay College, lettering in football, baseball, and basketball as well as track. His record as a coach in his years since graduation are marked with success. During the four years he taught and coached at Montpelier, he had two NWOAI championship years in basketball and baseball. In 1957 went to Van Wert where he is the Athletic Director. His overall record saw a sectional championship and one co-league championship. Has been head golf coach for years and assisted in baseball two years. Under his leadership Van Wert High School has added men’s sports including tennis, track, wrestling, and cross country, and girl’s tennis, volleyball, basketball, and track. He has served the NWOAI as vice president two years and president two years as well as eight years on the executive council. He has been on the state executive council for AD’s for two years.
