Hall of Fame
A total athlete who lettered three years in football, basketball, and track serving as track captain one year. He also lettered in wrestling and tennis while a student at Findlay College. A distinguished coaching and teaching career in Cleveland schools and Mount Union College. Had outstanding records with teams at West Jefferson, Bowling Green, and John Marshall. Completed his career in teaching and coaching this year as Math Department Chairman. Received the greater Cleveland Football Coaches Golden Deeds Awarded in 1972. Served as a director of the West Park Y.M.C.A. for five years. His football coaching record at John Marshall was 22 and 18. His basketball coaching career brought two district champs at Bowling Green and at Mount Union he had a 12 win 8 lose record.
