Hall of Fame
A graduate and athlete who put all of his being into developing the greatest potential in each student he taught or coached. Played and lettered four years in football at Findlay, was active Varsity F. Coached and taught four years at Gallon. Career completed at Dearborn, Michigan. HE taught physical education, and was assistant Varsity Football Coach at Edsel Ford High School, Athletic Director and Head Swimming Coach. His swimming teams won 66 meets and three league championships. Several of his swimmers were named High School All-Americans. The pool at Edsel Ford is named in his honor. He was a leader in the Dearborn community throughout the years, developing many summer programs for youth. In addition to his teaching and coaching duties, he was a Mason and churchman.
