Outstanding athlete at O.S.U. captain football ’31, lettered in basketball and water polo. Contributions to collegiate sports began in 1932 at Findlay College as coach of all sports. Had outstanding records – 1933 baseball team won Northwest Ohio Championship. Had outstanding coaching and administrative records at Muskingum, Washington and Jefferson, Miami of Ohio, West Point, and Northwestern. His devotion to sports led to management of the Chicago Mustangs pro soccer club and then to Vice President and General Manager of the Chicago White Sox. He was named major league baseball executive of the year 1972. He is now assistant to the President of the White Sox. A devoted man who has always led or coached with conviction, truth and compassion, a devoted husband and father.
