One of Findlay College’s great all time wrestlers and coaches with a personal record of 25 wins and five losses in dual meets, 12 wins, four losses in tournaments, taking top placing in 4-1 and AAU tournaments over a period of four years. Coaching record shows 51 wins, five losses, one tie at Van Buren with Regional Championship, Findlay College 68 wins, 33 losses, 4 ties, invitational champions. Head Freshman Coach, Ohio State, three wins, no losses in 1958. Received Silver Award of American Petroleum Institute in 1955 was named Outstanding Salesman of the Marathon Oil Company in 1958. As a business teacher, has held positions as regional State Director and Vice President of Cooperative Office Education and was Assistant Director Curriculum Development for Cleveland State. He is manager of Central Office Services for Cleveland Board of Education. Has authored book for office procedure in high school teaching. A father of four daughters, a grandfather and husband, great athlete, businessman, teach and scholar.
