A Findlay College athlete of outstanding ability. Lettering in football four years, baseball four years named All-Mid-Ohio ’47, ’48, and ’49. Lettered in basketball three years. Had outstanding collegiate football career as quarterback lettering four years. Named as all-time third baseman for City of Columbus soft ball leagues. Tried out with four major league baseball team. Outstanding leader in Y.M.C.A. work as well as other community activities. A leader in community relations and human understanding. Named to 1974 Who’s Who in Professional and Human Services by Academy of Human relations. Member Columbus, Ohio Community Relations Commission and a member of The Central Ohio Transit Authority. Devotes much time to church and civic interest. Member Findlay College Board of Trustees and Executive Committee, past president Alumni Association. Devoted alumnus, husband and father.
