Outstanding Findlay College fullback, 1946-48. Named All-Ohio Fullback 1947. Most Valuable Player 1948, also highest scorer for season. Named to A.P. and I.N.S. All-Ohio Conference first team in ’48. Outstanding heavyweight wrestler and student coach – winning AAU Northeastern Ohio Championship in ’47 and second in Interstate Tournament in 1948. Joined Cleveland Browns professional football team 1948 to 1950. Became outstanding football – wrestling coach and athletic administrator in Cleveland area high schools.
