All Mid-Ohio Basketball Player in 1954. Named WFIN Most Valuable Player in 1954 as well as Who’s Who in American Colleges and universities. Lettered in baseball and track. Career as a teacher-coach started at Kalida, then Sylvania, where he became administrator at Sylvania Junior High school in 1964. Served Mansfield Malabar High School from 1968 to 1972 as principal of Ashland High School. Active in community, church and professional organizations.
