Hall of Fame
A three-year letter winner in basketball, captain of the team. Won three letters in baseball, was captain 1931 and 1933. Assisted coaching football and was trainer for Stu Holcomb. Severed as President of Varsity F and active in many campus clubs and programs. Voted “Most Outstanding Freshman” and “Most Popular Man on Campus.” Tried out for Cleveland Indians and served for number of years as scout for the Indians. In Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame for activities with American Legion Team-Bellevue. As Recreation Director of Bellevue, Ohio has been honored by his community for a life devoted to young and old alike in providing re-creative activities. Named Outstanding Citizen of Community, honored by many organizations for his devotion to cause of youth.
